About Duck and Jam Art

Duck and Jam Art is an online gallery and store for the works of James McLoughlin.

The Artist

James is an Irish artist, born in Dublin. After living in London for many years, he returned to Ireland in 2015, settling first in Co. Down in Northern Ireland, and now Co. Louth in the Republic of Ireland. James is married with two furbabies, called Lola and Doughal.

The Art

James works in a variety of artistic media, including digital, paint, pencil, charcoal and ink. More recently, he has begun working in papercut and printwork through dry point, screen print and lithoplate. Since returning to Ireland, his work has been greatly inspired by the great beauty of his homeland, and in particular the Cooley Peninsula, the Mournes and the surrounding areas.
